Three classes of active substances work together: a hypnotic (sleeping aid), an opioid to block pain, and a muscle relaxant. The body enters a controlled state of deep sleep. These procedures require the muscles to be completely relaxed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Twilight sleep<\/strong> It is recommended for moderate procedures such as rhinoplasty or eyelid lifts. Experience shows that anxious patients opt for this procedure because it requires neither general anaesthesia nor mechanical ventilation.
