Yes. Before we begin working together, we check the basic company details of your practice or clinic and verify that it exists and is legitimate. This is to ensure the security and quality of our partnerships.

With 4beauty’s insurance cover, the following potential complications are covered, depending on the tariff – regardless of whether your patients are privately insured, eligible for subsidised health insurance or covered by statutory health insurance:

• Medical complications arising following the insured operation and their treatment, such as punctures to drain wound fluid, wound debridement due to infection, wound healing disorders or the treatment of necrosis.
• Medical treatments and operations required to restore the original aesthetic result following complications.
• Complications arising from an accident following cosmetic surgery.
• In breast augmentation procedures, the replacement of breast implants following capsular contracture using the Baker Grade III & IV, the slippage or rotation of the implants and the resulting asymmetries, as well as following infections.
• In-patient stays in hospitals for medically necessary treatments and operations.

The cover provided by our follow-up costs insurance amounts to a maximum of 300,000 euros for those with statutory health insurance, who are usually treated at public or statutory hospitals. For treatment at private clinics, a maximum amount of a maximum of 10,000 euros.

This difference stems from the differing cost structures and billing arrangements between the statutory and private healthcare systems. We therefore recommend that, when selecting a tariff and the sum insured, you take into account your patients’ individual healthcare circumstances as well as the risks associated with the planned procedure.

Claims are settled directly between your patient and 4beauty. As a quote must be provided before treatment begins, your practice is usually involved at this stage.

You can offer cover for a wide range of common cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, including breast surgery, liposuction, eyelid lifts, facelifts, rhinoplasty and buttock lifts.
